After his studies of physics at the Universities of Freiburg/Germany and Göttingen/Germany, Paul W. Hüppe began his work in the field of intellectual property in 1990. As German Patent Attorney and European Patent Attorney, he became a partner of REHBERG HUEPPE + PARTNER Patentanwaelte PartG mbB in 1995.

Mr. Hüppe specializes in technical fields related to vibration control and dampening, measurement techniques, medical equipment, lasers, microscopy, energy supply, plastic/rubber parts and processing, material science, especially related to metals and alloys, and aeronautics. A main aspect of his representing and counseling of clients in intellectual property conflicts involves the evaluation of out-of-court settlements.

Mr. Hüppe is a member of numerous German, European and International organizations in the field of intellectual property, as for example Deutsche Patentanwaltskammer (German Chamber of Patent Attorneys), Bundesverband der deutschen Patentanwälte (German Federal Association of Patent Attorneys), GRUR (German Association for Intellectual Property and Copyright), epi (Institute of Professional Representatives before the European Patent Office) and FICPI (International Federation of Intellectual Property Attorneys).
