Elmar Rehberg has been working as a patent attorney from 1970 to the end of 2009. He studied mechanical engineering and process engineering at the Technical University of Darmstadt/Germany. Mr. Rehberg is a founding partner of the intellectual property law firm of REHBERG HUEPPE + PARTNER Patentanwaelte PartG mbB.

Mr. Rehberg specializes in the prosecution, defense and litigation of German and European patents. His technical expertise lies in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, control engineering and process engineering.

Mr. Rehberg retired as a partner of the firm at the end of 2009.
