FILING NUMBERS 2014
In the year 2014, 65,958 national German patent applications, 14,748 utility model applications, 66,613 trademark applications and 59,423 design applications were filed in the German Patent and Trademark Office (source: DPMA).
Furthermore, 151,981 European patent applications (source: EPO), 100.281 European Community trademark applications and 87.454 European Community design applications were filed last year (source: OHIM).
