RESPONSE TO EXTENDED EUROPEAN SEARCH REPORT OBLIGATORY
Important changes to the Implementing Regulations of the European Patent Convention (EPC) relating to responses to negative extended European search reports enter into force on April 1, 2010.
These changes are expected to have a substantial influence on the prosecution of European patent applications.
